TrekPulse / TrekCore (Fan-Based Media Website)

 

Volunteered as a content contributor for a large fan-based Star Trek media website, specializing in the Star Trek: Voyager section.

Played a key role in the emergency preservation and relaunch of the website after the original domain was unexpectedly shut down.

Collaborated intensively with an international, fully remote team to save, reorganize, and relaunch the site under a new domain (TrekCore), which remains active today.

Served as lead coordinator for the Voyager section during a six-month site redesign and expansion.

Managed and coordinated a distributed team of 5–15 contributors using real-time online communication tools.

Assigned tasks, reviewed and corrected submissions, maintained content quality, and supported team morale during a high-pressure transition.

Helped redesign site structure and expand content offerings beyond the original scope.

Engaged with users through online forums, building community relationships and encouraging participation.

Developed interactive activities, games, and image-based contests to increase user engagement.
