Participant, Junior Staff, and Counselor

Active member from childhood through adulthood, progressing from participant to junior staff and long-term leadership roles.

 

Served as counselor for a group of 10–12-year-old girls for approximately eight years, providing supervision, mentorship, and structured guidance.

Planned and led weekly activities including crafts, skills training, marching, camping, and outdoor education.

Ensured safety, organization, and positive group dynamics during meetings, trips, and large regional events.

Leadership & Instruction

 

Achieved Master Guide, the highest leadership rank within the Pathfinder organization, reflecting advanced training in leadership, instruction, and youth mentoring.

 

Earned the Silver Award, a rare distinction involving:

Extensive memorization and study

Leadership in a mission or service project

A 20-mile hike and survival camping experience

Demonstrated leadership and service within the club

 

Served as Marching Instructor for five years.

Led teams that earned the Master Trophy (Best in State) twice.

Participated in award-winning drill team and color guard performances during earlier years as a club member.

Event & Team Coordination

Supported annual regional Pathfinder fairs involving:

Competitive marching and relay events

Craft and educational booth design
